CredPronto ("we", "us") provides certified translations and credential evaluations at credpronto.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email address, password (stored hashed) or Google sign-in.
- Documents you upload and the text we extract from them to translate or evaluate.
- Order details: languages, page counts, prices, order status.
- Payment details: processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, and cookies used to keep you signed in and measure advertising (Google Ads).
How we use it
To prepare your translation or evaluation, deliver files, provide support, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Only service providers who help us run CredPronto (hosting, storage, payment processing, AI translation processing, email delivery), under confidentiality obligations, and authorities when the law requires it.
Your documents
Uploads are stored encrypted and are only accessible to you and staff reviewing your order. We keep documents and finished files for 90 days after delivery so you can re-download them, then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
Your choices
You can access, correct, or delete your information, or close your account, by emailing support@credpronto.com. California residents have rights under the CCPA, including to know, delete, and correct personal information; we will not discriminate against you for using them.
Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest and limit staff access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.
Children
CredPronto is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We'll post updates here and change the date above. Significant changes will be emailed to account holders.
